How to Order

These soft knitted washcloths are 100% cotton, pre-washed and preshrunk. They are extremely absorbent in spite of being so lightweight. The secret is in the waffle texture.

I usually knit them with 2 strands of cotton for superior wiping-up strength; but on request I can knit them with a single strand for a cloth that dries more quickly.

Details of Knitted Washcloths

They are currently available in five colors: off-white, light blue, rose, medium blue twist, pink/white twist. Many colors are available in this cotton, however, so I can knit washcloths in almost any color you like.

One side looks like a traditional knitted stitch. The other shows the waffle texture which makes the washcloths so absorbent.

Uses for Knitted Washcloths

This washcloth is so soft that it feels great on your face and body. The texture provides a very gentle scrub that stimulates circulation.

These washcloths were originally intended for kitchen use, and they perform beautifully there. They can soak up spills with a single wipe, wring out easily, and scrub food off your pan or counter. I honestly will not use anything else in my kitchen now.
