How to Order

The horse puppet is rich chestnut brown with a black mane. The mane is knitted with a single piece of yarn, so there is no shedding. The friendly eyes, pointed ears, and embroidered nostrils give it a definite personality.

Here in Lexington, Kentucky, many horses are this color. But please contact me if you prefer pintos, palominos, or dappled grays!

Details of Horse Puppet

This animal puppet is virtually indestructible. It can be trampled, chewed, and pulled with abandon. When your horse starts looking unhealthy, just toss it in the laundry and it will be like new.

The horse puppet can be given to the smallest child with confidence. All features are securely hand-sewn and nearly impossible to pull off. It fits like an oversized mitten, and is easy to handle.

I make the horse entirely from a strong acrylic yarn that I’ve used for years. It can be washed again and again and still look terrific.
