100% cotton
This customer chose a top piece from one pattern and a bottom piece from another. I used 3 strands of a fine cotton held
together as I worked. This created a nice weight, but kept it soft and not stiff.

I wouldn't recommend swimming in a knitted or crocheted swimsuit, but they are certainly cute for sunbathing!
The customer designed this stripe pattern, with black and 2 shades of blue on a pure white background. Just beautiful! I designed a vest to her measurements and incorporated the stripe pattern. The cotton is a medium weight, with just a bit of sheen to it.
100% merino wool
This sweater was difficult to photograph, since it was a very dark navy. The rib and cable pattern is a classic. The yarn is wonderfully
soft, but crisp enough to show the cables to best advantage.

The raglan seam came together very nicely, while the traditional neckband fit the style perfectly.

The pattern and wool for this sweater were supplied to me by the customer. She asked me to do the knitting, then send the pieces
to her for sewing and finishing.

The classic Norwegian color patterns are timeless, and an exercise in stitch-counting to knit!
cotton/spandex blend
I enjoyed the chance to work with this yarn, Cascade Fixation. It has a rich texture and knits up very nicely. I deliberately
knitted the sweater large, then shrank it to size by washing and drying it by machine. My customer now has a cozy, wear-anywhere, easy-care sweater.
